How to Find Addiction Treatment

The highest chance for success in recovery starts with a stay in a residential treatment program. Inpatient treatment is the best way for you or your loved one to get and stay clean and sober and find ways to attain peace, serenity and happiness. These programs usually run from 30 to 90 days and have comfortable and safe locations to ensure optimum growth and recovery from addiction.

Finding the right treatment center for you or your loved one might feel overwhelming. There are thousands of treatment centers across the nation offering different amenities and services. Which are the most renowned? What treatment center is the best one for your child, parent, friend? Which one provides the best individualized treatment? How do you find out if your insurance will cover your stay? Lifetime Recovery Center can answer all these questions and more.

Payment/Insurance: This is a concern most people would like the answer to as quickly as possible. While you will go to any lengths to get your loved one help, there are different prices and options to consider. All of the treatment centers we refer to have two payment options: private pay, which is anywhere from 6,000 dollars to 50,000 per month, or insurance – both in-network and out-of-network benefits. All you have to do is call, and we can help you arrange either private payment (many are on a sliding fee scale) or we can perform free insurance benefit checks for you.

What to Look for in a Treatment Program: Every treatment center – whether 12-step based, psychological or trauma focused, or faith-based, has the same goal – to help addicts and alcoholics recover from their disease and introduce them to a clean and sober life. There are many aspects of treatment that one must consider when choosing the right rehabilitation center. Programs that have the highest success rate include both individual and group therapy, comfortable and serene location and setting, and options for family program, exercise and other activities. Most importantly, the treatment should be specifically tailored to the individuals needs and circumstances. This might include determining whether or not the individual needs a medical detoxification, possible dual-diagnoses, extensive family and social assessments, the person’s preferred style of learning and developing and activities.

Types of Programs: For each individual there is a drug rehab program best suited to fit their needs and wants. Residential treatment programs run between 30 and 90 days inpatient, on a case-by-case basis. Rehabilitation centers may be 12-step based, non 12-step based, or have an emphasis on faith. The size of the client population varies by treatment center, may be gender-specific or co-ed, specializes in adult or adolescent treatment, and is geared towards dual diagnosis or target a specific issue, such as eating disorders.
